Terms and Conditions Policy

Terms and Conditions (‘‘We’ refers Ali Morton of Ali Morton Yoga and Laughing Lotus Retreats. ‘Guest’ refers to the client that made the booking.)

1.         Terms of Service

We list what is included in your yoga retreat at laughinglotusretreats.com. Treatments are not included but we are happy to organise this for you. Alcohol, travel including flights and airport transfers and treatments are not included.

2.         Booking/Payments

Please check carefully all the details of your booking before you make payment; after this we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect details. Your Yoga Retreat place is secured by paying a minimum deposit of 25% of your total booking. This deposit is non-refundable or transferable. There is the option to pay the full balance or to pay the remaining balance no later than 90 days before retreat start date. If choosing to pay in installments, a 10% admin fee is added. This will appear in your invoice sent after deposit is paid along with the dates of remaining payments. If we do not receive your balance payment, your place may be given to another guest. If there is an issue with paying please contact us via email. Last-minute bookings must be paid for “in full” at the time of booking. We accept payment by Bank Transfer. Please give a reference (name of retreat venue) and notify us of your payment to hello@laughinglotusretreats.com. Please ensure that we receive the full amount for your holiday/retreat. We may offer a discount to some students, or last-minute discount places – this does not affect the status of any guests who have previously paid the full price, and no discount will then become due to them.

3. Cancellation by You

You may cancel at any time if the person booking and communicated makes the cancellation to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect such notification is received by Ali of Ali Morton Yoga/laughing Lotus Retreats. We will retain your deposit to cover administrative costs incurred and any other bank/payment charges. If cancellation takes places more than 90 days prior to the retreat date any payment will be refunded minus deposit and any other bank/payment charges. I cancellation takes place between 45-90 days prior to the retreat date, 50% of the retreat price will be kept/given to Ali of Ali Morton Yoga/Laughing Lotus Retreats. If cancellation occurs less than 45 days prior to the retreat date 100% of the retreat price will be kept/given.

4.         Acknowledgement & waiver

We as referred to Ali of Ali Morton Yoga and Laugh Lotus Retreats, takes no responsibility against loss, damage, illness, injury, or poor health, so please ensure that you have read, understood and signed our release and waiver of liability document before any yoga or physical activity is undertaken during any of our sessions, experience days or retreat based activities. Please note that you must not be participating in any of our sessions, experience days or retreat based activities if you are participating against professional medical advice. If you have any health issues, please consult your doctor to make sure you are in a fit state to join us for your activity holiday.

Release and Waiver of Liability DECLARATION OF HEALTH. By accepting this Tour Participant Agreement, I (the GUEST) represent that I have no physical conditions or medical precautions which would adversely affect my ability to take part in the yoga activity or other physical or cultural activities offered by Ali Morton Yoga/Laughing Lotus Retreats. I fully understand that my participation in the yoga or other activities could be injurious to my health and I voluntarily assume all risks related to such activities.  We accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or illness whilst you are on holiday with us, or for any travel costs to or from the retreat site.

            5. Kindness

To ensure enjoyment of all guests, please refrain from using loud music. Guests must be respectful and not engage in offensive, illegal or immoral acts. If this is not adhered to, then we reserve the right to ask a guest to leave our premises or suspend their activities if it is appropriate to do so, without any compensation.

           6. Changes/Trip Cancellations

If for any reason beyond our control there is a venue issue, we will find an alternative location for your holiday/retreat. Due to teacher cancellations or any other situations outside our control, we reserve the right to make any changes to our program or teachers. Alternative arrangements will be offered, but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including airfare and travel plans. We are exempt from fulfilling our contractual obligations for causes that could not be anticipated and/or are beyond our control, including an act of God, act of man, act of government, and other impersonal events or occurrences. We will always aim to provide you with the services mentioned. Whilst all reasonable efforts will be taken to ensure this, it may be necessary in some circumstances, eg extreme weather or environmental conditions outside our control, to relocate guests to another venue of similar standard in the locality. In such cases a supplement may apply. Once your holiday has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your holiday will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you. 

          7. Your Personal Information and Copyright

We will not knowingly give your personal information to anybody else (except where required to do so by authorities). We will retain your information and from time to time we may contact you with our promotional and resort related information. We retain all copyright license rights and exclusively owns all photographs and material displayed on its website. This information may not be copied or used for any other purpose.
